Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing, especially considering the excellent reviews we had read before booking. When we arrived, we discovered that the hotel was undergoing renovations, with construction work taking place right next to our room. There was a lot of dust and noise, and dust was even coming into our room, making our stay very uncomfortable. We immediately asked the hotel staff to move us to another room on a different floor, away from the renovation work. However, we were told that the hotel was fully booked and that they could not change our room. We understand that the hotel was fully occupied, but guests should have been informed about the ongoing renovations before booking, especially when the construction work could seriously affect their comfort. The hotel itself was also below our expectations. There is no proper lobby, and the breakfast area is located directly next to the reception, which was not what we expected. Breakfast was another disappointment, as almost the same food was served every day, with very little variety. Regarding cleanliness, it was average, nothing particularly impressive. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we have no complaints about their service. Overall, this hotel did not live up to its excellent reviews or our expectations. The renovation work, dust, noise, lack of flexibility regarding the room change, and repetitive breakfast made our stay disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel, and I would not choose to stay here again. I strongly believe that guests should be informed about renovations before making a reservation.
