It smells band

Nice location, nice looking rooms, renovated and comfortable enough though not so big. There is pool and it looked very nice, we didn't use it sadly, didn't have time. Beds were comfortable.

Parking is free BUT FCFS, so if you come in the evening you will not find anything as their parking lot is tiny and shared with paid public parking. So guests have NO priority. It took me an hour to spot someone leaving to park my car there late in the evening. Definitely not the stress you want to add to your vacation. They never wrote that it's so hard to find parking. So consider they have no free parking really. Also, they have a Night club right there as well, so it's loud through the night. We were given "quiet room" and it was still pretty loud there all night, we had to sleep in earplugs. Still thanks for not giving us a loud room :) I can only imagine how loud their other "regular" rooms that are facing the club or the street. Plan accordinely!

Hotel was honestly comfortable and in a good location. The staff in the lobby was amazing and very helpful. Would love to give this hotel a good review but just can’t after a specific staff member was being rude and a weirdo.

The nightlife staff name “mike” with curly hair in a bun was very rude to us on both occasions that we were there. Both nights he kept circling us, coming up to us and finding little things to try and intimidate a group of 8 girls. Since we were staying at the gold spike hotel w had access to be in the bar/club area on the first floor and on the second night he came up to us very rude and told us that if we wanted to be inside we had to go outside and stand in line which we proceeded to tell him we were staying at the hotel and showed him out key cards. Keep in mind other security had let us know we didn’t not need to make a line outside since we were staying at the hotel. Due to him circling us and honestly making us feel very very uncomfortable we ended our night short and went back into our rooms because it was just one thing after another with this dude.
