A good hotel. Friendly staff, good cleaning, a nice pool, and a convenient location. Transfer to the beach, comfortable car. My only complaint is about the restaurant's selection and decor. The restaurant itself looks very simple and cheap inside, like a cheap eatery and not at all like a five-star hotel restaurant in Downtown Dubai. We've stayed at several four- and five-star hotels in different parts of Dubai, and the restaurants are all beautifully decorated. The Caesar salad we were served for lunch didn't look like a Caesar salad at all: it only had green leaves and chicken, no cheese, cherry tomatoes, eggs, or croutons. The cook needs to learn some recipes. Dishes were slow to refill when they ran out. There was not enough fruit. The shrimp at the Mexican festival were oversalted. For some reason, there was no cheese at dinner, even though we asked for it and it was brought to us individually.

The staff are always exceptional every time we have stayed. The hotel feels like home away from home. I especially love the rooms with the fountain view as I adore watching the show through the evening.
