We enjoyed a couple of thoroughly good cooked breakfasts with all the sides. The restaurant was excellent overall; we had our best restaurant meal of the entire trip here. The couple next to us substituted so many things that they basically replaced the advertised breakfast with a different one - good to know that that's an option ;0

I think the last renovation was a while back now, and starting to show its age. Our room was nice but not exactly polished. The middle of the floor was a bouncier floor experience than I'm used too, a bit like being at sea.

Loved how friendly the staff were. Really liked how comfortable the rooms were. Loved all the little touches, antiques and quirky period decor.
