Really huge spacious room in a good location to walk to the French Quarter but far away to not get any noise. Supermarket very near by. A few vagrants outside but still a safe area. Really helpful friendly staff. Breakfast was perfectly adequate but not top notch. Easy to catch the tram to the Garden Area and WWII museum.

Average breakfast but great location

Our stay at Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans was a mixed experience. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean with fresh towels, which we appreciated. However, several issues made our stay disappointing. We found bags in the bed, the mirror was broken, the phone was not working, and the toilet seat was loose and wobbly. On top of that, we found the staff to be rude and unwelcoming, which made the overall experience even less pleasant. While the room was large and generally clean, these issues should have been addressed before guests checked in. The hotel needs to improve its housekeeping, maintenance, and especially its customer service. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations.
