De schoonmaak was slecht. Onder de bedden waren een heleboel stof vlokken, er lag een lege water fles onder die niet van ons was. Op het hoofdbord lag heel veel stof. En de vloer in de douche was niet schoongemaakt, lag nog vuil.

The kitchen was stocked with everything to cook simple meals. The location was a short walk to public transport, tour pick ups, restaurants, grocery. I never had to search for parking.. It was also far enough from city center to be really quiet at night. The bed and linens were comfortable. The shower room was stocked with hygiene items and a blow dryer. Staff was easy to reach and responded quickly to emails. It was perfect.

Perfectly enough for a few nights. Clean. And warm. The bed is comfy. The shower is modern (and I did not notice any water smell, which I think is common in Iceland). Kitchen facilities are very handy. Yes, the sliding bathroom door has a gap. But it wasn't a problem for us. I mean the gap is along the wall, so someone would need to really want to look inside to see anything. The location is good. Easy walk into town. Plenty of places to eat or buy food nearby. And a nice bakery on the ground floor. Access is easy (with a code). There are a few parking spots at the front or at the back (you need to use the ones marked with the hotel sign). I believe the whole street is free parking but we always had an empty hotel slot for our car.

The room is rather small. There are hardly any shelves to unpack to. Even no chairs, only stools.

Great location for downtown. Parking turned out fine but was a bit tricky to locate behind the building for our late evening arrival. Facility is more like apartments rather than hotel, so no staff there or typical hotel amenities. Room was nice, very clean, had all we needed for a 1-night stay.
