Manque de variété pour le petit déjeuner

The Bristol Nice is not that attractive a hotel from the street but the room was clean & comfortable (apart from noisy neighbours who insisted on slamming their doors!) We ate breakfast out both mornings at local bakeries promoting 'formule déjeuner' (we usually did this unless breakfast was included in the room price). The weather was v changeable but we stumbled upon 'Le Tchitchou' in rue G Clemenceau: so typical, so welcoming, so delicious!

The weather; the parking; and the fact the musée Matisse was closed, but then the musée Marc-Chagall had an excellent garden 'buvette' where we happily spent the time it took for the musée to reopen after a particularly long lunch break.

The room was clean and in a good location, just a 3-minute walk from the train station and grocery store. The room was cleaned every day, and fresh towels were provided regularly.

The only minor issue was the tiny bathroom, which made it a little difficult to get in and out due to its small size.
