We had the delusxe room, more space in room and on balcony. We travelled with two friends who had the standard room, and we could comfortably meet and have drinks etc in our room and on our balcony which had a front-row view of the bay. You can sit on the balcony and have a great view of sunsets, people on the beach and on the grass. Endless entertainment. One note - there is some noise from nearby bars and boom boxes by the beach, so if you're very sensitive to such noise, which is not extreme if you're in the room with the door to the balcony closed, you may want to get a place further from the busy part of the beach.

The location fronting the beach on Baie des Citrons in Noumea is ideal for those vacationing in the area. It is also convenient to the SOuth Pacific Commission and the IRD research centre. There is a bus to downtown only a few meters down the street and numerous restaurants in easy walking distance. This property is a very good value in the quite expensive Noumea hotel market.
