Very well located hotel in a quiet part of Nairobi. Very secure and good facilities including a swimming pool. We stayed for 6 nights and it was an excellent base to explore the city and further afield. Highly recommended and very well priced.

There was a huge party going on on the Saturday night with booming noise outside my window that despite ear plugs stopped me from sleeping. I had to go and discuss this at 1.20am before it was stopped. I understand music till 12 but this was thoughtless when they had a number of guests who were leaving early in the morning and this was known.

The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. I stayed 3 nights over 2 stays. First morning the breakfast selection was limited, definitely not worth the price if not included in my room rate. The other two mornings when there were more people, as Intrepid Tours uses it as a base in the city, there was a large selection of food. The onsite restaurant has a lot of options for lunch and dinner. Nothing special but nothing to complain about. The location was secure - security at the entrance from the road. It is close to ATMs and a supermarket but you have to cross a busy road to get to them. You can walk to the tourist areas (museum, markets) if you like walking (2 to 3 km each way). They have secure baggage storage for when you are on your safari or if you have to check out before its time to leave for the airport. There was no problem staying in the common areas after checkout.

No screens on the window. Undergoing renovations so noise during the day and detours to get to room.
