Hotel is located in the perfect spot. Easy to get around town. Lots of good restaurants nearby. And the casino is right across the street. Rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious.

Hotel was experiencing a lot of problems with their elevators while we were there. We were on the 22nd floor so sometimes it took quite a while. One time there were no elevators working for a very short period. But this would not stop me from staying at this hotel again.

The staff were phenomenal. Jasmine (not sure if this is her name but the front desk manager or possibly assistant manager) took my concerns very seriously and gave us a $100 room credit to make up for all the troubles we were having. The bartender Brandon was the absolute best! He helped us find the best restaurants and was hilarious. Honestly my favorite staff at the hotel. We also had a great interaction with Emerson at the front desk. He was so kind to us while we asked him a million and one questions.

Maintenance workers kept walking into our room with no warning. It happened three times. The elevator was also broken for half of our trip. After walking all day up and down bourbon st. Going up 14 flights of stairs was miserable. The rooms also were not dusted. Behind the tv was dusty, and even if it’s not visible, the dust can cause a reaction. My allergies were on fire to the point that I got a towel and dusted off some things that were bothering me.
Despite the follow-up via Booking and our two messages to Le Méridien New Orleans, we have received no response from them (as a reminder: there was incessant noise and no water—we couldn’t even take a shower before leaving for the airport _ oct 26).Clearly, guest satisfaction is not a priority for them at all!
