Consistently praised across reviews: room cleaning done regularly, described as clean/very clean and well maintained.
Staff described as helpful, friendly and efficient (including proactive handling of laundry conflicts); one isolated negative report about refusal to provide an extra blanket.
Multiple comments highlight excellent location: close to Hamacho and Ningyocho stations, easy metro access, convenience stores nearby and a quiet neighborhood.
Mixed feedback: rooms are clean and cozy but often small/cramped (especially for 3 guests), limited luggage space, small beds and no dedicated lounge area.
Good basic amenities noted (complimentary items like brushes/shavers/bath salts, rental umbrellas); on-site laundry exists but only three machines which can cause waits.
Generally seen as good value (one review explicitly cites good CP value); some guests would have paid more for larger rooms but find pricing reasonable for location and cleanliness.
Mixed opinions: some guests liked the breakfast, others found it limited or skipped it; overall food options nearby are plentiful but hotel breakfast variety is modest.
Overall very positive: many guests 'absolutely recommend', noting quietness, cleanliness, convenient location and good service despite minor issues with room size or breakfast.
A good hotel, and I picked it mainly for the neighbourhood — the green streets around Hamacho and Ningyocho are lovely to walk, and it turned out to be quiet and calm, which I appreciated after busy days in the city. There are plenty of small restaurants within a few minutes' walk, and the metro is literally steps away. Breakfast was good. The rooms, of course, are on the small side. Ours even had a full-size bathtub — but honestly I would rather have given up the tub and taken those extra two square metres for the room itself. That is exactly the space I felt was missing. There is a laundry room, but the machines were usually occupied, and a wash cycle takes longer than at a local laundromat — so for a big load I'd just walk to one nearby.
