I was traveling with friends who booked the room on my behalf. It is a beautiful five star hotel with all of the amenities. Large, beautifully decorated room and spacious bathroom. Excellent bed and sheets. I especially enjoyed the Swahili buffet Friday morning and dinner on the pool deck one night. Service was stellar! All were so friendly and welcoming. Serah was particularly helpful. Loved the warm pool. Highly recommend!

Lovely historic hotel with spacious rooms and nicely appointed decor. Immaculate. Welcoming staff always willing to help. Serah in particular was super helpful planning our three days before we arrived and then during our stay including hiring a private jeep guide for a half day safari, followed by elephant sanctuary, giraffe center, Karen Blixen museum and late lunch at the coffee plantation. She also arranged wonderful packed breakfasts for our safari and early morning departure. On Fridays there is an elaborate Swahili buffet on he pool deck. The pool was sparkling clean and warm. We ran out of time to use the spa. Dinner one night on pool deck was delicious. Isaac checked in to make sure we were happy with everything. We will definitely return!
