Noisy room next door. Staff on reception could not speak English understand or help. Pillows were horrible drove 400klm one then another 400klms the next on ZERO SLEEP. HATED IT WILL NEVER GO BACK. THEN WHEN CHECKED OUT THEY STILL DID NOT CARE

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and came from diverse backgrounds. Daily housekeeping was provided, and the room was well stocked with essential amenities, including shower caps, sanitary bags, a spare toilet roll, a box of tissues, and shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. As someone who is particularly sensitive to noise and light when sleeping, I was pleased to have a restful night’s sleep throughout my stay, with the help of earplugs. The scrambled eggs served at breakfast were excellent and definitely a highlight! The in-room tea selection was somewhat unusual, with four varieties of black tea but no herbal or decaffeinated alternatives. However, six individual milk portions were provided in the fridge and were refilled daily.

The fridge wasn’t cold enough, and I suspect the previous guests must have stored seafood in it. Unfortunately, housekeeping didn’t seem to have done anything about the odour, as there was a strong, lingering smell of stale seafood inside the fridge. It was awful! Their brekkie buffet is a bit pricey for what they offer. They listed tomatoes as part of the buffet, but I didn’t see any on any of the three mornings I was there. Also, the coffee machine only offers full-cream milk. If you want milk in your tea, you’ll need to use the coffee machine, select “Milk”, and then press “Stop” once you’ve got enough. Quite an odd setup! If you don’t have a car or aren’t planning to rent one but still want to explore the city, this probably isn’t the ideal place for you. I also noticed some people hanging around the hotel car park every night during my stay. I don’t think the hotel has anything to do with it, but it might feel a little unsettling for those who aren’t familiar with the area.
