I gave a negative rating for the staff due to a disappointing experience during our stay. On Thursday morning at 8:00am, a member of staff mistakenly woke us up. Despite having paid for an extended checkout until 2:00pm the previous evening, we were then contacted by three different members of staff after 11:00am, each asking us to check out. This was particularly frustrating as our late checkout had already been arranged and paid for in advance. Unfortunately, the repeated interruptions and lack of communication between staff members had a negative impact on our overall experience.
Location,the hotel is beside the RDS and close to the Dart, there is a bus stop outside. However the Dart wasn’t running the weekend we were there and I understand this happens quite often especially on bank holiday weekends. The room was very quiet at night however some guests who were up very early made a lot of noise coming and going.

We were charged €10 per night for parking in the hotel’s own car park which was a bit much considering the price we paid for our stay. We were waiting 30 mins for our order to be taken at dinner one evening and another 35 before food was served. The food was nice but expensive considering the size of the portions which were very small.
