We had a positive experience at Eco Home View - Guest House! The staff were fantastic, always exceptionally helpful, friendly, and keen to assist with whatever we needed. Having a hot shower was a great plus after a day of exploring. There is a long set of stairs to climb every day to and from the main square. It wasn't an issue for us, but it could definitely be challenging if you're struggling with Cusco's high altitude or returning tired from a hike. Overall, a great budget-friendly base with lovely hospitality.

Due to their sun exposure, the rooms can get pretty cold, and there are no space heaters provided, so pack warm layers for the evenings.
