The location is great, nice view of the lake

The staff are very unprofessional and clumsy, made a potentially special experience really disappointing. Pre ordered a cab to pick us up which they forgot about. It was my partners birthday and I payed for a cake to surprise her with at the hotel which they agreed to put in my room and again they forgot about it. The pool is pretty but dirty and the cleaning staff all stares at you to make it very uncomfortable to swim there. Construction really affects the view and vibe of the actual building and is not accurately mentioned on booking until after you book. The staff taking care of your luggage is very obviously insistent on receiving tips making it uncomfortable and annoying to ask for their help with your luggage. I do think tipping a lot of the time is a good thing but I don’t think it should be expected for every service done by the staff when the price of the hotel is so high. Overall, for the price of such a hotel, I was very disappointed with the poor quality of service which honestly ruins the stay a bit. I would recommend going somewhere else.

The property itself is beautiful — a charming and impressive haveli with a lot of character. However, our experience was somewhat disappointing because a significant portion of the property was under renovation during our stay. What was more disappointing was that we were not informed about the ongoing renovation at the time of booking, despite the room rates being quite high. The breakfast options were also quite limited considering the price we paid. Honestly, at this stage, it feels like you are paying primarily for the location and the heritage setting. That said, I’m sure the property will look absolutely stunning once the renovation is completed. The staff were also very polite, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a beautiful heritage property with great potential, but given the current renovation and the price point, we felt the experience did not offer the value we expected.

Ongoing construction, electricity also went at 6 am, with no back up generators, reception is closed untill morning so no support as well from hotel

Excellent property. Staff are professional and friendly. Very walkable to most attractions. Breakfast was excellent with lot of choice of cuisines. The dinner by the lake was a great experience. The concierge gave great suggestions. We did a day trip to Kumbalgargh In addition to touring the city palace and fatesagar lake.

During peak time 6pm to 11pm, you will have to park outside about 1/2 mile away and hotel will send a small 3 wheeler. This is not avoidable since the traffic in that area during that time is peak and roads are very narrow. But you can reach before blockage and park your car onsite.

This hotel was recommended to me, and I failed to do my own research. I now see a review a month ago where the guest mentioned the construction. I was told the restaurant would not be open at lunch time and then found it was, however, was never told I would have to navigate up a flight of stairs under construction, as the lift was out of order. Many other issues also. For the rate it's best to stay elsewhere as the hotel is very badly managed. The only savior it's restaurant and view.

Les travaux en cours ( basse saison , temps des travaux) Le bruit des tables qu’on pousse . Du roof top qu’on range le soir si la chambre suite est juste en dessous ..jusque minuit. Le petit déjeuner trop light piur le standing que ceux se donner l’hôtel .
