The property is in a great location, close walk to great bars and cibo Italian restaurant. The hotel bar is gorgeous and the rooms are super comfy, done out to a high spec.

The only thing that could improve, were the staff on the rooftop bar were abit slow.
Good location. Quirky and interesting in terms of set up and decor.

One BIG problem! The owners dogs. Unknown to us upon arrival (7pm ish), he had locked several dogs, maybe two, into a room at the rear downstairs of the property. We went out for dinner c 7.15 and returned at 9pm ish. Early to bed due to our travel commitments to France. At this point we heard the odd brief dog barking. We assumed another guest had a dog. The barking became more frequent and longer in duration. By 11.30pm I was wondering if it was some sort of quirky electronic noise machine that needed unplugging. It continued, so at around half past midnight I decided to investigate, as the barking was now incessant. Sure enough at the bottom rear of the hotel I found a locked door, and at least two dogs were in distress barking frantically. I ran back to my room for my phone. I returned and videoed the noise. I then called the hotel owner, as at this point I wrongly assumed it was another guests dogs. They were in-fact his dogs?! He was not best pleased for the call and tried to suggest that I had disturbed them. Unbelievable! He said he would sort the dogs. Sure enough some 30 minutes later, gone 1am, the barked ceased. Sleep, zero. Apologies, none received!

Great location with easy safe walking to lots of restaurants.

Continuous tram and bus noise in rooms facing the road. The dark coloured paint really shows up the dust. Rooms could do with a spruce up and some maintenance. Very nice bar and breakfast.
Exceptionally comfortable room for the night we stayed and superb location right in the heart of the city. Staff were lovely and welcoming and everything clean and inviting.
