More staff needed eg 24 hour maintenance man,domestic staff. Main problem was heating turned off in a high corner upgrade room on 29 th October and room cold enough to make us shiver.Heating took about an hour to kick in.Poor girl on reception on her own and had to come up with heater and extra duvet herself.Hotel of this calibre cannot leave heating off in winter before guests arrive.No compensation offered except a coffee each.Need clear instructions in room on how to operate heating too

The room wasn’t very clean, the shower was dirty, the carpet was very stained and the lock was broken on the bathroom door, so that the door would not stay closed.
