Where to start? When arriving, the A/C didn't work, it was hot like hell there (outsidetemperature over 30). We told it to the reception, they pretended it's news to them, even though roomneighbours confirmed they had announced it many hours before. Wasn't fixed until 23h when we got back, different room couldn't be offered as they were full apparently, instead they opened the window in the room widely. Connecting balcony (safe...) and mostly mainhighway. So basically no sleep possible. They promised to change the room in the afternoon. They did, I asked what they had thought of as a compensation, they said I will find something in the room. There was nothing. A bit later they came back with 4 small nata, leftovers from the breakfast I suppose. The "thank you for chosing our hotel, we appreciate you as a guest"-card felt like a joke. And guess what didn't work in the new room: A/C! So down to reception again, they promised to get it fixed manually. Did, after leaving the room it stopped working again. They promised food and a drink as a compensation (after I asked, not they would have come up with the idea), when wanting to order at the rooftopbar they said kitchen was closed. Well, I rarely get really angry when it's about tourism, but the behaviour of the staff there really made me angry. So they told me to order downstairs, I was asked for the creditcard despite them offering to get it for free, I asked for the drink to be brought up to the rooftopbar immediately (didn't want to lose even more time listening to them discussing internally) and also the food afterwards. After waiting for another 20 minutes where nothing happened, someone from the staff on the roof got down to get the food for me. Well, it is an art to make everything go wrong during the entire stay. A/C not working can happen. How the staff handled it was a desaster. It's a 4star-hotel and the night wasn't cheap.

Fresh bottles of water daily in the room would be nice. Persons leaving towels on sun beds when they are not there.

Het voelt echt wel een eindje bij alle bezienswaardigheden vandaan, maar dat wisten we. Je krijgt daarvoor wel een prima hotel met rooftop zwembad. Er zit een metro direct naast het hotel maar een Uber is echt zo goedkoop dat het niet zoveel uit maakt dat je een eind weg zit. Je bent zo waar je zijn moet. En rondom het hotel zijn genoeg heerlijke eettentjes te vinden. Dus. Zou het zo weer doen.
