Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal im Cecilia Hostel. Die Mitarbeitenden sind außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, gleichermaßen was Besichtigungsziele betrifft wie andere Themen, die aufgrund fehlender Arabischkenntnisse entstehen. Vielen lieben Dank! Die Zimmer sind groß, die Betten bequem, die sanitären Einrichtungen funktional. Es gibt einen Aufzug, der uns aus dem nicht zum Hotel gehörenden Erdgeschossbereich hoch zum Hotel in die beiden oberen Etagen bringt. Paradiesisch ist die Dachterrasse. Herrlicher Ausblick, gemütlich eingerichtet und ein erholsamer Ruhepunkt im pulsierenden Downtown Kairo. Die Lage ist kaum zu überbieten: zu Fuß zu Nil und Tahrir in weniger als 10 Minuten. Eine knappe Stunde Laufen zu Khan El Khalili (alternativ zu Uber). Fazit: meine Familie und ich sind dort gern und werden beim nächsten Besuch in Kairo wieder dorthin gehen.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They were very friendly with the guests and made sure that we had everything we needed. They were easy to get in touch with throughout the whole duration of the stay.

There were some issues with the quality of the room/bed. Several of the shelves in the room were very weak, to the point where I feared I would break them if I put even my backpack on them. Additionally, the pillows very hard and not very comfortable.

C'est la troisième fois que nous venons à Cécilia Hostel et nous sommes ravis de revoir toute l'équipe, tous toujours aussi gentils , bienveillants.. Ils sont toujours là pour vous aider, vous conseiller ! La jolie terrasse est idéale pour prendre le petit déjeuner et discuter avec les autres voyageurs ! Bref, on adore !
