Nice location in Cherry Creek. Room was very quiet and bedding was very comfortable. Nice pool and rooftop bar although was closed early (5pm) on a Saturday night for a private event (held at 8pm - do they really need 3 hours to setup) which kind of short-changes the paying hotel customer who expect this amenity so the hotel gets paid extra for a private event on top of what the hotel paying customer is already paying in a room rate with this amenity theoretically priced into the amount. It would have been nice to comp a round of drinks or some kind of other offer for my wife and I when we had to exit the pool area when we would have loved to spend another hour at least relaxing and in the pool. We used this area on our first and third night. On the second night we tried the downstairs bar. While the space was nice, the attitude by the bartender was terrible like he really hated his job. He was sarcastic with another couple at the bar and was kind of short with my wife. He was very off-putting so we had our one drink and left the property and went to a nearby restaurant for more drinks and dinner (there was no way that we were spending any more money there with his crappy attitude waiting on us). Valet service was extra fast but I will say the daily cost ($68 plus taxes) is one of the highest valet fees that I have experienced worldwide. The daily $30 'Destination' charge should be renamed to 'We Want you to spend $30 a day in the hotel' since it is daily charge that is credited back on service purchases up to the amount daily (in theory automatically - in our case when reviewing the bill it wasn't done automatically and to be manually adjusted by the front desk at checkout) but any underages do not roll-over so you are expected to spend $30 per day if you want to get any value of this 'Destination' charge. Service at the front desk was fast and efficient. Housekeeping also did a good job. Overall, we enjoyed our stay (as it was 3 of our total 9 night Colorado vacation) but these few items kept this expensive resort property from obtaining a 10 star rating.

Visiting family near Hotel, so wanted to try this Cherry Creek Location; one and done. Had naive idea that our grands ages 7 and 9 could come over to the rooftop pool, but it is an adult party zone. No swimming going on there! Nice upgraded suite as result of Bonvoy status, but no view whatsoever, except for the Construction work going on all around hotel. Ordering breakfast was frustrating as the hostess who answers phone was "away", escorting people to tables; had to walk down there to order room service. On second of three days, cleaning of room was not done-only the bed made, no vacuuming, no takeaway of breakfast dishes, etc. Upon departure, I discussed all the above with manager and he gave an adjustment of approx 15% of cost three days stay.
