We liked the location close to the lake. It was great sitting in the fire pit and drinking a glass of wine. The bed was also large and very comfortable. We loved the warm walnut cookies offered on arrival, yum.

We didnt like that although we had paid extra for a room with a lake view the view was limited and could not be seen when sitting down in the lounge. The window was small and was not like the picture shown in the advertising which had a floor to ceiling window with a full view of the lake. I would not pay extra for a lake view as it is not worth it. I also didnt like that the toilet opened straight onto the lounge and you could hear everything while sitting in the lounge! Also the tea bags were few, not generous at all.

The restaurant was booked out a lot of time we were there. Also it was advertised with a balcony but you couldn’t access it as the aircon was it. It’s quite far out from the city
