A lot of noise from the kitchen and people audible from the room. Soundproofing needs to be reviewed.

No electricity at night for 2 nights in a row and for a person using a sleep apnea device, this poses health problems. No apologies from the staff, saying it was not their fault. We had requested a gluten-free breakfast and received 1 egg and a 30-gram corn cake. When we pointed it out, we were told that we should have made a list of foods, so it was obviously our fault. No one takes responsibility in this establishment, which is also one of the most expensive in Essaouira. We expected a different service at this price.

The riad was well situated, spotlessly clean, traditionally furnished room, and the staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food was the best I’ve had anywhere in Africa (and beyond). I’ll book again!

This Riad is a gem. They offer a fantastic and very complete breakfast, with fruit, juices, yogurts, typical pastries, crepes, nuts, omelette, tea, coffee. We also tried dinner one day and it was also delicious, very elaborate, all fresh from the market. If you order food in the morning, they buy all the fresh ingredients. The staff is excellent, organizing everything you want, from taxis to excursions. Very professional. Also the cleaning staff, kitchen. All a 10!

As the room doors are old, some noise can be heard when they are cleaning in the hallways or downstairs in the Riad since everything is open.

The brightness made sleep difficult. It's a shame there were no blackout curtains. Also a shame that there was no kettle in the rooms
