Lights flickering in the bathroom. No hand soap in the bathroom. Mattress on bed collapsed so not comfortable at all to sleep. No charging setup for devices in the room I stayed in room 2. General maintenance needed in the common areas passage ways by the rooms.
Prima locatie aan de rand van de binnenstad en dicht bij Waterfront van Kaapstad (beiden op loopaftand). Mooi oud gebouw, creatief omgebouwd tot hotel. Heerlijk ontbijt. Poort is gesloten van 19.00-07.00 uur, maar de beveiliger laat je (te voet of met de auto) keurig binnen. Erg genoten van ns verblijf (6 dagen, 13 personen)

Too expensive for what you get, it is a mixed use building that has some rooms. The entrance at night is awful and dangerous. No lift.

We were checked in 10 minutes late as we were told the staff was lazy and didn’t clean the room quickly. Once we got to the room it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. The bed sheets had marks all over them including blood stains and the sheets were torn. The bathroom and sink also had a terrible smell. We could not stay and checked out within two hours of arrival. They claimed they could not refund us even though booking.com tried to reach a solution with them. We had to book alternative accommodations the day off.
