I arrived around 11 PM, later than scheduled, due to a flight delay. Despite the late hour, the owner personally greeted me. They were highly responsive and accommodating, making me feel comfortable and right at home.

Do not book here. It is a scam. The owner books out the same rooms multiple times and then moves you to a different place. I booked a room here, and received the check-in information on check-in day. While I was headed to the property and the check-in window HAD ALREADY STARTED, the host messaged me to say the room was not available due to "special circumstances" and that I had been moved to another place further from downtown. I checked, and the room I had originally booked was still available to book for the same dates! He didn't alter anything about my booking on the booking platform, suggesting that he regularly does this and wants to fly under the radar. Fortunately, I was able to call booking.com to have the booking canceled despite the booking period already having started, and I booked somewhere else. Despicable behaviour.

This review is about the company that runs this location. We didn't get to stay at this location due to "special circumstances" (later the person admitted they just messed up) and were moved to another location that we were told was owned by the same person (lie) and nicer (big lie). I put in a complaint with Booking and they agreed that I shouldn't pay the company and canceled the booking. I offered to pay a portion of the booking amount that I felt was fair, based on the poor condition of the place we stayed as well as the inconvenience of being moved to a location 40 minutes farther away. Mind you, the place we stayed is not listed online anywhere. The representative of the cozy home (who initially told me they were the owner, then backtracked and said they were just an employee) then proceeded to harass me with dozens of messages per day trying to guilt me and ultimately saying that God would sort me out. Truly a bad experience.

It was in such a nice neighborhood with so much must try restaurants and the bus stop was just a 3 minute walk!
