We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay. One of the highlights was the early check-in and complimentary room upgrade to a higher floor, which were much appreciated. The room was a good size by Singapore standards, with a well-equipped bathroom offering all the necessary amenities. The room was quiet, the bed extremely comfortable, and despite the hotel being quite large and busy, the overall atmosphere was peaceful. Breakfast was included and exceeded our expectations: a great variety of options, including international choices. A particularly thoughtful touch was the grab-and-go breakfast option for guests leaving early. The location is excellent, within walking distance of major landmarks such as Merlion Park and Marina Bay Sands. The neighbourhood is quiet, with plenty of dining options nearby, including Chinatown. A special mention goes to the staff, who were consistently friendly, welcoming and always happy to assist. They even kindly offered to mail our postcards for us, a lovely gesture that made our stay even more memorable.

The only area for improvement would be the gym, which felt a little small. Also, it is worth mentioning that it is actually an outdoor gym rather than an air-conditioned indoor space, something that isn’t immediately clear from the pictures. Given Singapore’s heat and humidity, even early in the morning, this made working out less comfortable. Overall, a fantastic experience. I would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore!
