When booking we were upgraded by booking.com. When checking in the woman confirmed we were upgraded but we ended up getting the most basic room (I’ve stayed here many times) Why lie to us? Things like this drive me crazy. The rooms are fine, but noisy. You can hear every single door in the hallways open and close.

The hotel felt and is old. run down. The key didn't work one of the nights due to the battery needing to be changed on the door magnet. I was over charged and it took forever for it to be fixed. The pool bar was closed (due to weather though).

Great location just a few blocks from the hubbub of the action. The decor is really cool and has the art deco vibe. Nice bar for ‘happy hour’. The restaurant looked nice but we didn’t eat at the hotel. There is a nice roof top pool but it was raining and over cast during the our stay. Our room was very spacious and the shower was very good.
