Location Very close to Forbidden City and many other attractions. There is also a mall with a food court next door. Access The hotel is in a development complex that takes a few minutes to drive into. Entrance Door people friendly. Lobby is dark and small with few chairs for meeting people. Front Desk The worst part of our experience was the front desk. They started adding unexpected charges immediately and more later. No perks or recognition for HHonors status. They acted like we should be lucky to be there. If not for my kids I would have cancelled and gone to another hotel. We stayed in Hiltons across Asia and China. This one had the worst attitude we have ever experienced. Room Fantastic. Large with an incredible view and A+ amenities. We loved the room and the housekeeping services. Food The restaurants are dark and dingy. Breakfast buffet had a great selection. Conclusion We will never stay in this hotel again. The front desk staff were absolutely rude and entitled. I hope the GM sees this and makes needed changes. Not acceptable - esp by Asian standards.
