We came back to our room to find our door unlocked. The cleaner had not checked that the door after leaving meaning someone could have easily gone into our room leaving our valuables at risk. We reported this to the receptionist and asked for a room not be to cleaned. We did also mention it may have been due to a dodgy lock as the door didn’t always auto lock upon closing. But we never said it was broken or requested for it to be fixed, we were just concerned that the cleaner didn’t check. We were then abruptly woken on the second to last morning to be told the locksmith was here to fix our lock. There was zero communication to us on this or pre-warning. The lock still worked for us. We found this incredibly frustrating as it was a complete surprise, caused us to rush out of bed to get ready. We were also kept up nearly every night by a man stood outside our door talking really loudly at 2am/3am. The AC had a bright blue light inside that illuminates the whole room, meaning we both struggled to sleep due to this. I would not recommend this hotel at all.
