room ok breakfast limited but fine location in touristy area a bit crowded.

check in staff requires training to cater to higher-level customers check out staff requires training to cater to higher-level customers lobby is sparse! no chairs at all! Under renovation should not be an excuse for such sparsity.

Excellent breakfast. Eggs and bacon cooked there and then. Fantastic choice, plenty of everything. Staff were brilliant. Very friendly and polite. Very smart and professional.

Renovation work going on, which is really a very minor quibble as these things are necessary to keep the hotel as smart and comfortable as it is. The work was not intrusive so just unfortunate timing.
