This is an excellent seafront choice in Copacabana. The rooms are spacious, spotless and very comfortable. My seaview room included an armchair and a writing desk. Although the hotel has and old-fashioned look, the room had a modern decoration and a fully refurbished bathroom. A generous buffet breakfast was included in the price.

In the last two years I have noticed a decline in the quality of service in their restaurant. At breakfast, empty trays lie on tables without being refilled, they run out of orange juice, cups and glasses are missing. At other mealtimes a la carte, waiters are very slow and disorganised. This clearly point at a managerial issue.
