Stayed for 3 nights before a cruise. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us store luggage when we arrived early. Front desk was able to help us with a shuttle to cruise ship and a few other issues during our stay. Breakfast buffet staff kept tables cleared and food coming out. Housekeeping did a nice job with our room and was friendly in the hallways. The room was a good size, nicely appointed, and very comfortable. The location was convenient to downtown and transit. Breakfast offerings were standard hotel faire - but it was nice to have it included in rate.

Seem to be operating on a bare bones staff with restricted amenities. Front desk often had a line and usually only one person on duty juggling both the line and the phones. Prices in the little store were outrageous ($6 for a soda). We were given incorrect info about the self-service laundry (initially given a piece of paper that stated $2 per load with detergent provided) but it turned out to be $8 per load + buying expensive detergent in the store. Rooms are cleaned only every other day. Also there is currently construction in parts of the hotel.

The place was under construction which I wasn’t told, also the facilities were unavailable due to the construction and the room was not cleaned well at all let alone the whole hotel
