Close to Zurich Main station when we planned to use everyday with our Eurail Pass. Whilst the building is old the hotel is kept in good order. The breakfast is very good with variety of food.

If you just need a place to spend a night or two in Zurich, this hotel is a solid choice. The location is prime—only about 500 meters from the main train station (HB) and very close to the city center. The breakfast was quite good, varied enough, and more than sufficient to start the day. While the bathroom was not spotlessly clean, the overall standard was acceptable for a short transit stay. Additionally, the kitchen and breakfast staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

We stayed on the 4th floor, and about an hour after checking in, the Wi-Fi cut out and stayed completely down for the entire evening. Calling reception did not help at all—the staff took no action to fix or address the issue. Overall, the front desk team was rather mediocre regarding friendliness and willingness to help, which was a sharp contrast to the welcoming kitchen staff.
