The location of this hotel was fantastic. The staff were superb - the receptionist was so helpful in tracking down my mobile that I lost. The breakfast was fine in the morning and it’s a short walk to the port. The perfect place for a stop over. Would recommend.

Its location within the palace wall, access to restaurants and tourist hotspots. Lovely staff.

It is in dire need of renovation and does not live up to its starred rating , except for the staff, who were very kind and lively. It is full of grubby and dated corners. The fittings in room 202 were stained, badly fitted and poorly repaired. The Jacuzzi didn’t work and units in the bathroom water damaged. The dining room was too small for the amount of guests and hot breakfast was actually cold, until pointed out. Sorry to have to say this but it needs to be said.
