The bed was very comfortable. The wifi, shower and fridge all worked well. The room was spacious. The location was walkable to much of Central and the subway station next door made it easy to get to other parts of Hong Kong.

Of all the hotels i booked, this was the smallest/cheapest but made up for it with the best aircon, pillows, mattress, water pressure and reading lights. The hotel only has about 90 rooms so it feels a bit more guest housey with lovely staff. Having a water fountain to refill each day was terrific. The location is perfect for tram trips (the stop is out the front), so many foodie options down Portland Street and the daytime local market on Canton Street. The Sai Ying Pun MTR station is on the Island line and under the hotel. Walk to the Central Markets and you will find the Mid-level escalators as the streets are just too steep to walk. A great neighbourhood highlighting old Hong Kong which was awesome.

Having to leave a HK$500 cash deposit at checkin which was a surprise.

Good location close to subway station,district with plenty of good, local restaurants offeing tasty food.Friendly hotel staff.

Cleaning staff should take more care :dust in the fridge ,areas below and behind furnitures.
