I found it a bit strange that there was no hand soap in the bathrooms/outside the bathrooms in the shared girls' dormitories

READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING SPOT HOSTEL — AND SERIOUSLY CONSIDER BOOKING SOMEWHERE ELSE. If you are looking for a clean, safe, respectful and comfortable place to stay, I strongly recommend avoiding Spot Hostel. My experience was so bad that I would not recommend this place to anyone. Theft and complete lack of concern Valuable belongings were stolen from me on the hostel premises. When I asked management to check the security cameras, I was essentially told that they did not have time to do it and that checking the cameras was not part of their responsibilities. For a hostel where guests’ belongings are supposedly under some level of protection, this response was completely unacceptable. Extremely unprofessional staff One reception employee, Daniel, was particularly unpleasant during my stay. I as well as other guests experienced insulting and inappropriate behavior, including homophobic remarks completely unacceptable in a hospitality environment. He would also leave the reception desk for extended periods during his shifts, leaving guests waiting without assistance. Even worse, after I repeatedly raised legitimate concerns about the theft of my belongings, the hostel manager called me and screamed at me, accusing me of “harassing” the staff simply because I was complaining about what had happened. This is not customer service. Guests should not have to tolerate being shouted at for reporting problems. The rooms are shockingly small The room was a few square meters. There was essentially just a bed. No table. No chair. No closet. No window. It was incredibly cramped and uncomfortable, with virtually nowhere to put anything or even sit properly. Loud parties until 3 AM The hostel’s lobby is regularly rented out for loud parties that continue until around 3 AM. This means hostel guests lose access to one of the few communal areas where they could normally sit, eat, work or relax.
