Excellent location, with everything within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and had a nice river view. Air conditioning and an iron in the room were a big plus. Breakfast was good.

The breakfast area was overcrowded every day, and we often had to wait for food to be replenished. Poor ventilation and an unpleasant smell in the corridors. The balcony window handle was coming off. The rooftop terrace, advertised as one of the hotel’s facilities, was closed throughout our entire three-day stay due to a “private event”. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful. We also paid for spa access but were unable to use it. When we asked for a refund, we were told this was not possible, which was disappointing and unusual compared with our previous hotel experiences.

The SPA is very nice, with pools, two different saunas and a Turkish bath, a very well-equipped changing room, with the possibility of booking various massages. Fantastic breakfast, especially the savory items. Excellent value for money.

Although advertising a spa with a swimming pool, we couldn’t just have a swim. There is a charge of €20 per person to visit “because you have access to the pool, sauna, and steam room”.
