The room was super clean, private, and quiet. They even honored me as a special guest of the day and gave me free breakfast. That was sweet and unexpected.

The pool was out of commission. The walking pathway to the property from the light rail was rough. It was dark and not well paved and terribly laid out.
The best part is the location. It's just a few minutes from hiking trails near the foot of the mountains. As far as the hotel itself goes, the lobby is really nice and parking is tight but there's usually a spot.

The room itself was probably the biggest letdown. It's very very old and it looks like it. Our TV didn't work properly, our room had a missing sliding door, the bathroom door had a big crack on it, and there was hair on the corner of the shower stall.

The rooms. We had two rooms during our stay because the first room was handicapped accessible, (didn't like the shower set up). After moving to our new room, it was apparent it needs complete remodeling. The curtains were literally moth-eaten. The lobby, lounges, bar area, and restaurant are first rate, we were impressed, and the staff was great. But the rooms....
