It’s very expensive, but it was worth it
The hotel is well situated and very well designed. Staff are friendly and happy to help. We are asked to switch rooms late in the evening due to a leak - we were upgraded and given a few perks, which was fantastic - big thanks to the duty manager for sorting that.
The hotel is well situated and very well designed. Staff are friendly and happy to help. We are asked to switch rooms late in the evening due to a leak - we were upgraded and given a few perks, which was fantastic - big thanks to the duty manager for sorting that.
We got lunch one afternoon by the pool, and the staff member who took our order forgot to give it to the kitchen. After 40 minutes we checked for an update on our order and were told there was no order on the system. Another staff member then re-took our order again but still got the dietary requirements wrong so they then had to send back the food to correct it. A quick bite by the pool ended up being a two hour ordeal. Needless to say, when the order did finally come, our appetite had dissipated. The 2nd staff member , Crista, was really helpful and sorted a free meal for us. The staff member that initially attended us then came and apologised and said he was in a meeting (it turns out he was the manager of the pool bar, so this was annoying as we would expect even better service from a senior staff member).
