Burned myself with cheap coffee maker. Toilet and shower were old and didn’t flush/drain properly.
It was a very old style hotel, very back rooms type place, which is fun if you like that kinda thing.

The front desk staff had a very hard time checking me in, turned me away told me I probably couldn’t stay there after asking for and then charging three different bank cards 6 times for the entire cost of the stay. The charges got reversed but I had thousands of dollars of cc holds for about a week. Eventually I asked a different employee to try again after a few mins. He also ended up charging a card twice, but was able to see the “problem” and fix it to let up stay there. There was an interesting smell in much of the hotel. I probably couldn’t have enjoyed the “former nice hotel” vibe if they hadn’t almost turned me away.
The properties entrance is beautiful. The belt staff and front desk were kind and quick with service.

My room was not in great shape at all. The smell of mildew was so strong. The air condition was louder than any I have operated before. The wall had a weird line that looked like moisture damage, the coffee setup was filthy and the shelf was falling off the bathroom wall. Room 221. They do not have room service.
