Nice apartment in a fantastically beautiful garden: truly feels like a piece of paradise on earth! Warm welcome with a drink and very nice that the option to join for a communal dinner is offered, which was also very delicious! It was Super! Thanks Jérémy, Anne-Lise & staff

Nothing, everything was TOP!

Wonderful, gorgeous, historic building with lots of unique personality and decor. Fabulous location conveniently near many tourist attractions. Given the opportunity (a return trip to Ponta Delgada), this would be our first choice of location to stay. Great hosts, great included breakfast.

Casa do Campo de Sao Francisco is the most wonderful place we have ever stayed. The historic character and personality of the building and decor of the many common areas were magical. Our hosts, David and his partner, were very attentive and quickly responded to any requests. Excellent included breakfasts with our stay. The location was very conveniently located in old town Ponta Delgada on a historic square near the Sao Bras Fort, Church of St Joseph, Our Lady of Hope Convent and the Lagarta Tourist Train. We could not have asked for a better location or more gorgeous views. We would definitely stay here again.

The only drawback is no elevator due to the historic nature of the hotel.

Absolutely loved our stay! The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and the breakfasts were fantastic. The homemade cakes every day were especially amazing — such a lovely touch!

There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the hotel. The only thing I would recommend is following their request to let them know your arrival time in advance. I completely forgot to do this, and when we arrived there wasn’t a doorbell, so I had to call and disturb the hosts. They answered and opened the door within seconds, though, so even that wasn’t really an issue!

Beautiful old building with history. The host and staff were extremely warm and hospitable, and the breakfasts were fantastic. The rooms were clean and the bedding smelled fresh, daily room cleaning and towel replacement. Great location.
