The location of the hotel, near the center of the French Quarter, the room was very good, clean and tidy, it is an old building so it may smell a bit musty.

The room seemed to have been renovated before - there was sanding dust everywhere, even on top of the shower wall. Paint and putty stains on the bed and the textured wallpaper. The adjacent rooms were currently being renovated at the time
