The street garbage pickup near my windows was loud and woke me up twice. I would ask for a different room next time.

Staff didn’t tell me about parking fees until checking out the next morning. When I went to pay, I offered my credit card for the deposit but asked to pay cash. I was told that I couldn’t do that and the full charge would be put on my credit card and I could pay cash upon check out, and it would take about a week to reverse the credit card charges. This was completely unreasonable and I’ve never once had to do this at any hotel. This significantly and negatively impacted my trip as I had the pending credit card charges my budget for the trip was used up completely for this ridiculous hotel rule. As a Canadian travelling in the U.S I have the additional foreign transaction fees from being forced to pay this on my credit card (even though I paid cash the next morning). This made the whole trip really frustrating and disappointing, would not stay here again.
