This is an outstanding hotel. It is extremely well managed, with efficient, friendly, and very professional staff. Special thanks to the wonderful young man who served us our morning coffees and gave us a wonderful start to our day, the fabulous front desk staff, and the housekeeping person who found an item I had misplaced, and a charger cord I didn't know I had left behind! Old world charm in its decor; excellent restaurant (Bacchus); spa, marvellous downtown location. I will definitely stay here again!!

Were treated like royalty. Everyone at this hotel went out of their way to see to our comfort and the property itself very upscale.

Suite 1402 is an exceptional room in an exceptional hotel. The Wedgewood is a beautiful hotel that exudes class and sophistication. It definitely personifies the five C's of the Relais & Châteaux organization, courtesy, charm, character, calm, and cuisine. We stayed in suite 1402, one of the top floor terrace suites with amazing views of the city of Vancouver. It is a beautiful two room suite with a gas fireplace and a delightful, huge soaking tub. The whole staff was amazing but Melvin Ky and his concierge team were truly exceptional and handled dining recommendations, reservations, transportation and every request with grace and style. This is a world class hotel in every way. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Vancouver.

Couple stayed here for a recent weekend getaway. Have stayed before and were so impressed we thought we'd do it again. Sure glad we did. Check in was smooth and efficient. Stayed in a suite with 2 bath/separate bdrm & balcony facing Robson square. Room is spacious, tastefully decorated and has all the amenities one could want. A very comfortable bed and bedding. Towels were nice and plush. I know this might sound a bit strange, but I always judge (to a degree) a hotel on the quality of T paper they use. If you're paying top dollar for a room and they stock it with one ply or some bargain brand, I feel that's a bit telling. Here, they provide quality in everything. Enjoyed breakfast at Bacchus each morning. Menu has really all the options and the food was excellent. Service was beyond excellent. Most importantly, coffee and tea were HOT. A little thing I know, but important. Do know that Robson square across the street can be a bit noisy on Saturday afternoons. Absolutely no reflection on the hotel whatsoever and the noise is relatively short lived (over by 6 PM) I know there are lots of 5-star hotels in Vancouver and I've stayed at most. Here at Wedgewood there is a quiet, not overstated, elegance and sophistication in the property and the staff. They are not stuffy or pretentious. They provide top level service at every encounter and interaction and are genuinely pleased you've chosen to stay with them. They are proud of their property and for good reason. Will certainly be staying with them again and again...

We spent three relaxing nights at this charming boutique on our way to Asia having had a nice but rather chaotic visit with the families in the east coast. Didn’t have fabulous weather which was not expected anyway but had a wonderful time walking around nevertheless. The location is highly convenient right at the heart of the city. The staff is welcoming, warm, friendly and efficient. We had so much help from David, Antoine, Melvin and Ryan that made our stopover such a delightful experience. Also, each morning when we went to breakfast, Raymond was there with a huge smile to give us a great start of the day. The staff are really the gem of this place. There was one thing I would like to point out, however. There was a small sign by the nespresso machine that says that the three cubes of coffee are complimentary but if more are required, the hotel can provide them with a charge (I forgot how much 2 or 5 dollars per cube). The amount is minimal but somehow it leaves a sour taste. I would expect it won’t affect majority of the guests (us included). But it’s not the amount that mattered, it’s the overall feel. I just think it would be a pity if a guest should feel a bit “cheap” having seen this sign at this really wonderful place.

Welcome home - everyone, from the owner to the chamber maid, greeted us like old friends as we celebrated our annual town weekend. Superb in every way. Thank you!

We always stay at the Wedgewood Hotel and Spa when we travel to Vancouver. It’s centrally located in the heart of downtown Vancouver; shops, restaurants, museums, parks, the waterfront and train/bus stops are all within easy walking distance. Rogers Arena and the football stadium are within walking distance as well. Downtown Vancouver is a busy place, but you feel the peaceful quietude of the hotel as soon as you walk into the lobby. The hotel’s lobby and common spaces have an elegant European charm and warm atmosphere. The Bacchus Restaurant is Michelin-Recommended and has a beautiful Italian-inspired decor and artwork. The rooms are lovely and spotless, just as one would expect from a hotel with a great reputation. The staff is attentive and friendly and experienced. You’ll see the same faces if you come back year after year, which itself is an indication of a well-run hotel and a happy staff. Denis (valet) merits a special shout-out for service, as does everyone at the front desk.
