An excellent location. Cannot be faulted. So easy to walk to Subway, restaurants, cafes and the Market and Piers. Nice big room. Plenty of space for our luggage. Comfortable bed. Fabulous staff. Very friendly. This hotel has a great atmosphere. We enjoyed the happy hour in the lobby with free beer and welcoming surroundings.

The location of the hotel was really great!
Unfortunately, we were not satisfied at all with our stay at the hotel. Our room was right next to a huge air conditioning unit that seemed to be responsible for the entire hotel. As a result, it was extremely loud in the room. Moreover, since the windows were only single glazed, the noises were hardly muffled, and restful sleep was unfortunately out of the question. We then asked at the reception if a room change was possible. We were informed that the hotel was fully booked and therefore a room change was not possible. However, later we found out that at that time there were indeed rooms available and they were even offered online through various booking portals. Therefore, we feel that we were not honestly informed and not taken seriously by the reception. Due to this experience, we cannot recommend the hotel. Especially the way our complaint was handled and the, in our opinion, incorrect information regarding the room change had a very negative impact on our stay.
