View into the shaft from the courtyard could have been a bit nicer. The area around Union Square is actually completely full of drug addicts, which is not the hotel's fault, still somewhat uncomfortable at times.

You can't beat the location. The staff is so friendly and professional. The building is absolutely gorgeous- and the parking is convenient and secure.

Since I brought a car, it was difficult to park before checking in. There was some confusion at the garage, but all in all not too bad.
