We booked a specific room and they probably upgraded us to a family room, but it was a horrible room with two floors that I would have preferred to receive the regular room and not the upgrade. One day they cleaned the room and left the door open until we arrived.

The reception staff is not friendly at all. Like the breakfast and pool staff. I forgot an item in the room when I checked out. I wrote an email the next day asking them to keep it for me as I would return to Florence later. They replied that they didn't find anything. They never offered to look for it, never apologized. The reception is zero kindness and courtesy.

Air conditioning could have been better in our room, all the other rooms were good, our room had a bedroom mezzanine which was warm at night.
