The bathroom was old. The window couldn't be opened as it was locked, and at reception, they told us they couldn't provide us with the key. Although it had a slight opening for ventilation, it doesn't seem enough, considering they don't clean the room daily. We couldn't ventilate the room during the 4-day stay.

The online check-in system was useful, as I only needed to collect the keys and register the car on arrival. The tea bags in the room were good quality and plentiful. The staff looked smart and professional.

Location wasn't great, with roadworks taking place right outside, the parking spaces were narrow and limited, the carpets inside the whole place were awful and it smelt of pets, the room wasn't clean, with stains on the bathroom floor, a dirty toilet, an empty bottle behind the bed, flies in the bathroom, disgusting shower head, awful view of bins from the window, broken window brackets, no complimentary toiletries, old basic TV, (no streaming services) no wall sockets by the beds, the breakfast plates were tiny, like side plates so you couldn't really eat a proper cooked breakfast, the coffee making machine was in an entirely different room to the rest of the breakfast buffet, which was annoying, the whole place looked tired and old fashioned and in need of refurbishment. Really disappointing..maximum 2 stars at best.
