You should be heartfelt not only in trainings but in real operations as well. My 60 years old mother came for a fully prepaid stay. Very poor English and EU bank blocking pre-authorization for extras. I asked the duty manager to put a "no post" and empty the minibar. So my mum gets only what is fully prepaid, which is accommodation. But still, it took around half an hour after a 13-hour flight. A very disappointing experience for her. I think sometimes you should handle things on a case-by-case basis and not be robotic. Otherwise, we would have AI at the check-in desk.
