There was no air conditioning (which they already inform about, but they did have a fan, although in early September there was a humid heat during the day that was difficult to bear, but at night it was more bearable. The room was a bit tight on space if you have large luggage.

The day before was sightseeing in LA, the next day we went to Venice Beach, and then to the airport, so we booked this hotel. On the day of sightseeing in LA, we used rideshare from the Chinese Theatre to the hotel, and from the hotel to downtown LA. The commute was about 40 minutes each way and cost less than $40, so it was more convenient than I thought. The location was good, about a 10-minute drive from Venice Beach, which I wanted to visit the next day. The area where the hotel is located seemed quiet and safe.

As mentioned in other reviews, the noise was very bothersome. Before booking, I read through the reviews and there were many positive ones, so I made a comprehensive judgment and booked here. However, noises from people walking in the hallway, talking, etc., continued until the early morning. Especially our room was near the shared bathroom, so people were coming in and out constantly, and we couldn't sleep at all. The earplugs were provided for free for this reason. Also, the day we stayed was humid due to rain, but the hotel was set at 81F and the individual rooms couldn't have air conditioning, so we felt a bit stuffy.
